Subscribe:    / @scottnickley3605   Trail running in the desert has become one of my favorite outdoor activities since living in Southern California. I had never really seen myself as a desert dweller, but there's so much of it in and around Los Angeles that you sort of have to fall in love with it. I'm still pretty new to fastpacking, so this was a definite challenge. There is very little water (I was actually told there was absolutely none) which meant I was carry about 5 liters with me. This adds a crazy amount of weight to the pack. But the trip was amazing and I recommend it to anybody looking for a challenge!
