My intuitive daily stitching for 1st March 2025 (happy St David's Day) - stitched area is about 1" x 1.5", worked on vintage linen. Use one strand of DMC-type floss, or similar, throughout: Pale yellow for the petals, five or six detached chain stitches per flower; Darker yellow for the 'trumpet' centre, five or six straight stitches fanning outwards; Medium green for the stems - back stitch, stem stitch or straight stitch, whatever you find easiest; Darker green for the leaves and adding some shading - straight stitch, work a little catching stitch over longer thread floats; A different green (variegated if you have it) for adding some straight stitch grass along the lower edge; Pale blue running stitch for some optional sky.
