Full details here in the information box below: Intuitive daily stitching for Sunday 23rd March 2025, stitched in real time - it's slow, but sometimes that's a good thing. I've used three shades of blue - medium-pale blue, fine cotton; medium-dark blue, fine silk; dark blue, fine silk - but you can use different colours, or just one colour throughout. The stitched area is about an inch wide by about 1.5" high. 1. begin with the palest colour and make little back stitch circles. Don't draw them first, just stitch - it doesn't matter at all if they're not perfectly round. Nobody needs perfection on a Sunday morning. Scatter them fairly evenly over the surface; make some bigger than others and have some going beyond the border. 2. add more circles in a darker colour, overlapping some of the previous circles 3. add running stitch outlines and inlines with the darkest colour - make it up as you go along, working tiny running stitches either outside the circle or inside it. You could work straight stitches instead if you prefer, maybe radiating out from the circles. For scale, most of my circles are between a quarter of an inch and half an inch in diameter. Yes, it's a bit fiddly, but I find these circles to be pleasantly slow and meditative.
