This video will be part of our ‘Cooking & Baking recipes playlist’ Let's get started!🍞 Ingredients: 2 cups (250 g) of self-raising flour 1 1/4 cups of milk Optional for Taste: 2 teaspoons of salt 1 tablespoon of sugar Instructions: Preheat Your Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare an 8 x 4 inch baking loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with oil to prevent sticking. Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the self-raising flour and milk. If you prefer, add the salt and sugar for extra flavor. Knead the mixture together until it forms a dough. Bake: Transfer the dough to your prepared loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes. The bread should be light brown on top. It won’t get as dark as traditional yeast bread, but it should spring back when you press the surface and a toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean. Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool fully in the pan before removing and slicing. Enjoy your homemade bread with your favourite spreads or as a side to any meal!
