The Caribbean Foothills of Costa Rica include some of the most visited parks and places such as Braulio Carrillo National Park, Arenal Vulcano National Park and La Fortuna. The Caribbean Foothills lie between the Caribbean Lowlands in the east and the Highlands in the center of Costa Rica. During our stay in the Caribbean Foothills we visited the following birding hotspots: Braulio Carrillo National Park, Arenal Vulcano National Park, Sky Adventures Park, Bogarin Trail in La Fortuna, The Nest Nature Center and Tapir Valley.
