Rose, Fu Ling & Longan Liver Qi Tea 🌹 | TCM Tea for Stress, Bloating & “Stuck” Emotions I’m sharing one of my favourite gentle TCM teas to help move stagnant Liver qi and support the Spleen. This is a beautiful tea for those days when you feel emotionally tight, easily frustrated, sighing a lot, bloated from stress, or just carrying that “pressure inside” feeling. This is often caused by liver qi stagnation. The qi in the Liver isn’t flowing, so it shows up as moodiness, headaches, neck and shoulder tension, and changes in appetite. If it lingers, that stuck qi can heat up and turn into Liver fire, making you even more irritable. ✨ Try this gentle warming tea with: 5-6 dried red rose: moves Liver qi, softens emotional tension, supports Heart blood 5 dried fu ling (poria) – strengthens Spleen qi, drains damp, calms the shen 1 piece dried tangerine peel (chen pi) – moves Spleen–Stomach qi, helps bloating & burping 3 dried longans – gently tonify Heart & Spleen blood, add natural sweetness 1 cup of boiling water. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Enjoy! I like to drink this late morning or mid-afternoon as a “Liver qi break” tea. Avoid usage if you’re very heaty or too dry, like dry stools.
