All 5 grade crossings I have filmed here in Long Island that have no WCH gate mechanisms whatsoever. Out of 5 crossings that I filmed with no WCH mechanisms, only 3 remain in Long Island without a WCH mech, Old Commack Rd, Old Stump Rd and Kaintuck Ln. 11th St in Long Island City Queens still retains all Safetran gate mechs as of today which means there are 4 no WCH gate mech signalized crossings left owned by Long Island Railroad on their system. 11th St Long Island City still has 12x24 inch incandescents as well which is the last owned by the LIRR with all Safetran mechs a Safetran bell and incandescent 12x24 inch lights all at one crossing. These include Montauk Branch Pine Neck Ave, East Patchogue, NY (Signals no longer exist in service as of 2023) Old Stump Rd, Brookhaven, NY (Still in service) Port Jefferson Branch Old Commack Rd, Kings Park, NY (Still in service) Park Ave, Huntington, NY (Last quad Safetran mechs on the LIRR) (South pedestrian signal replaced with a WCH signal with WCH style 4 mech in 2023-25) Oyster Bay Branch Kaintuck, Ln, Locust Valley, NY (Gateless signalized crossing with no mechs or even a Google street view as of 2026)
