Then the disassembly of both models, reworking, polishing, and the full reassembly and functional testing of not just one made in France, a very vintage Jacot Lathe but a second one been made in Switzerland. We retire the older one, we already had here to the hands on watchmaker and micro-machining museum. We are watchmakers and we use a Jacot pivot polisher regularly in our watch service business, so the one gifted to us is now being used after its complete restoration to perform its tasks. This issue is however covered in our downloadable documentation, discussing the known existence of the bearing heating happening and the solutions to try to resolve these issues are in place.
