Hi my dear foodies, my name is Maria. Thank you very much for visiting my cooking channel, I am so grateful to have you all here. I am going to share to you all a very simple dessert/snacks recipe from the Philippines. Cassava is a root crop that have a brown color and looks like a pointy tube. This root crop grows very well in a tropical country. This is also known as YUCA. You can make a lot of variety of food out from cassava. In this video I am preparing the easiest one today yet very delicious. This dessert can be served hot or cold and is perfect for coffee or tea. You can find cassava/yuca in most grocery stores they also sell a frozen one that is already peeled. Ingredients; ~ Cassava/yuca ~ 2 cups Coconut milk ~ 3 cups water ~ 1 cup brown sugar Procedure: ~ arrange peeled cassava in a pot and add water ~ bring it to a boil in high heat, once it starts to boil, adjust heat to medium low and cook for 30 minutes ~ add coconut milk and brown sugar, flip all cassava carefully to cook them evenly ~ continue cooking for 20 minutes or until cassava is tender ~ serve hot or cold ~ enjoy Happy Cooking!....
