He discusses how he got the amazing photographs from Porsche for his book, and how long it takes to write books. He also discusses the upcoming auction of the famous Porsche Gulf 917 Steve McQueen drove in the movie LeMans that is currently owned by Jerry Seinfeld, but will be sold in early 2025. They wonder if that fact got was owned by McQueen will help it get an even higher price at the auction. You can see him at Porsche Fest at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday September 14. He is scheduled to give a presentation of the history of Porsche at the show, which is a must-see for Porsche enthusiasts. The Simeone Museum has a real and unrestored 1970 Porsche 917 LH that you can see at the show, as well as a 1927 Mercedes-Benz S-Type Sportwagon that Ferdinand Porsche worked on while being an employee of Mercedes. They also talk about the Porsche 917 show at Pebble Beach in 2021 and writing for the magazine Forza. There is even a surprise guest for the final segment!
