To buy a Baju Melayu, experience free iftar at a mosque, and join one of the busiest iftar gatherings in Malaysia. Ramadan in Malaysia has been nothing short of amazing, and today was all about exploring culture, faith, and food! 🛍️ Shopping in Kuala Lumpur – Berjaya Times Square I started the day at Berjaya Times Square, one of Malaysia’s biggest shopping malls, filled with huge stores, stunning Ramadan decorations, and an incredible atmosphere. I treated myself to new T-shirts, while my wife went on an abaya shopping spree. As we explored, we even saw a TV show being filmed inside the mall—Malaysia always has surprises! 🕌 Visiting Masjid India & Free Iftar at the Mosque Next, we took a Grab taxi to Independence Square to find a Baju Melayu shop recommended by a subscriber. On the way, I spotted Masjid India, a beautiful blue mosque, and decided to pray Asr inside. To my surprise, they were giving out free iftar meals, a true display of Ramadan generosity in Malaysia. 🍛 Breaking Our Fast at Merdeka Park After picking up our free iftar meal from the mosque, we grabbed some Nasi Lemak, our favorite Malaysian dish, and set out for Merdeka Park, where thousands of people gathered to break their fast together. I’ve never seen so many people waiting for iftar in one place—it was a truly special Ramadan experience. With only 10 minutes left till Maghrib, I made a last-minute run to buy fresh fruit juices before the Ramadan adhan. The energy was amazing, and the moment of breaking our fast in the park felt so spiritual and heartwarming. 🛍️ Finding the Perfect Baju Melayu & Jakel Mall To end the day, we visited Jakel Mall, an incredible Islamic shopping center in Kuala Lumpur filled with Baju Melayu, Islamic clothing, and Eid essentials. I finally found the perfect Baju Melayu for a great price, and before leaving, I couldn’t resist buying a BAPE bag I spotted.
