The spectacular Manx Electric Railway was kept busy once again during the 2025 festival period, with a great variety of events taking place around Derby Castle, Laxey and other places along the scenic coastal route to Ramsey. From the return of long-absent trailer cars to parallel running, staged photography to visits to the car sheds, and with unusual combinations thrown in, there was a lot for the average enthusiast to see and do. Stretching over a 9 day period (except Monday 25th July 2025), and in what could very well be my longest MER video to date!), this combined film and photo montage shows the action that took place throughout that long and busy week. Featuring Cars 1, 2, 5, ,7, 9, 14, 19, 21, 22 and 32, plus 'Works Car 34', Wickham trolley 22, and a few surprise vehicles thrown in for good measure!
