Til gud ki roti is very famous and prepared during Makar sankrati.It is a mixture of sesame seeds sengdana coarsely ground added roasted besan to the quantity and jaggery. in required proportion.The method of making the roti is similar to puran poli similarly sengdana roti is also made .it is ate by simering ghee on the roti til gud roti sengdana gud roti Ingradients 1.sesamme seeds 1,/2 cup 2.sengdana roasted and peeled 1 1/2 cup. 3. jaggery 2 cups 4. besan 2 table spoon 5.6 to 7 cardamom and 1/4 pc maize finely powdered 6. wheat flour 4 cups 7.maida 8 table spoon 9. ghee 8 tsp method mix the wheat flour and maida together. Add salt as per taste and heat the ghee and add to the mixed flour.mix well and knead the dough to mudium.not very soft not hard. Allow the dough to mature. roast the sesame seeds in the frying pan. roast the sengdana till the peels could be removed.Gring the sesame seeds and sengdana coarsely roast the besan. add to coarsely ground sesame seeds and sengdana. put the mixture into mixie and add one cup jaggery in the powder form cardamom and maize powder. similarly make the mixture for sengdana roti by adding one cup coarsely ground sengdana and jaggery powder cardamom and maize powder. The dough which was kneaded and left to mature.make medium proportion of roti round.make puri size of one such round by pressing in hand and put little bigger size ball of til roti mixture on it. roll it from all side by hand and end up with ball to make roti. extra dough could be removed. Roll on belan to make til roti .heat the pan and put it on medium fire. Roast the til roti on medium fire.serve with simering ghee on it.Similarly sengdana roti is also made. cooking and preparation time approx 1 hour
