🥨 Turkish Simit Bread – Full Recipe 📝 Ingredients: • 500 g bread flour • 350 g warm milk • 10 g salt • 40 g sugar • 30 g butter, softened • 15 g instant dry yeast • 10 g bread improver (toast bread improver) • Grape molasses, for coating • Sesame seeds, for coating ⸻ 👩🍳 Method: Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl. Knead by hand or using a stand mixer until the dough becomes completely smooth, elastic, and uniform. Cover the dough and let it rest at room temperature for 15 minutes. Divide the dough into portions weighing about 430 g each. Roll each portion into long ropes. Twist two strands together and shape them into rings. Dilute the grape molasses with a little water (about 1:1). Dip each ring into the molasses mixture, then coat generously with sesame seeds. Place the shaped simits onto a lined baking tray and let them rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
