A super simple technique for calming your mind. Overthinking is our biggest barrier to peace. Peace is already within us. It's only our thoughts that block this peace. Isn't it great to know that you don't need to change your personality to be able to calm your overthinking mind? it's important to remember that you are not your thoughts, even though sometimes it can feel like it! We can be so caught up in thinking that we even forget we have a body. Can you relate? The technique I share in this video is one of my favourite fast ones for quickly and easily shifting from overthinking to presence and calm. Coming "out of your head and into your feet" is so effective because you're bringing your awareness into the present moment, and moving it as far from your head as you can, while still in the body. Sidenote: this is also really helpful if you're having trouble getting to sleep. Focussing on my feet is often the last thing I remember before dozing off.
