Below are the items you will need to make your own. _______________________________________________ Root Beer Extract: The one I used in the video I got from here: https://ebrew.com/Root-Beer-Soft-Drin... Directions for this kit (see my process and suggestions below): https://drive.google.com/file/d/10KXH... Another popular one on Amazon, Zatarain's Root Beer Concentrate: https://amzn.to/3wrfoik Optional Items for bottling: P.E.T. Plastic Bottles: https://amzn.to/3JOY8X5 Champagne Yeast (needed if not carbonating in a keg): https://amzn.to/3yirM4v Here is the process I used (4 gallons): 1) Boil 1/2 gallons (2 quarts) filtered water in a sauce pan. 2) Stir in 8 cups of table sugar until fully dissolved. (if doing again I would use 4 cups table sugar and 2 cups brown sugar instead to make slightly less sweet and add flavor). 3) Pour sugar water into a keg (or bottling bucket if carbonating in bottles). 4) Add 2 ounces root beer extract. 5) Add remaining 3.5 gallons of filtered water (does not need to be boiled). 6a) If kegging, force carbonate between 30-40 PSI for several days. This can be done in refrigerator or not. When serving, use a LONG serving line, 10-15 feet in length to reduce foaming, or turn off pressure and bleed all but a few PSI from keg, then fill glass or bottle. 6b) If bottle carbonating, proof the yeast by adding yeast to 95-100F degree water. Let stand 5 mins, stir to remove clumps and pour into bucket, stirring to mix well. Fill bottles right away and screw caps on TIGHT. Carbonation should be reached in 2-4 days, or when bottles are firm. At this time, they must be put into a refrigerator to stop yeast activity or you will have over carbonated and potentially dangerous bottles (bottle bombs). *NOTE* Carbonating in the bottle will produce a small amount of alcohol, Leave any questions or comments below!! _________________________________________________ You can see the exact equipment I use in my videos at my Amazon shop here: https://www.amazon.com/shop/cityscape...
