If you're from San Diego or currently live here, I'm sure you've crossed the border at least once to explore the various beautiful parts of Baja California. Being a huge wine lover, I have been wanting to visit Valle de Guadalupe for the LONGEST time now. My friends and I went for a quick two-day getaway and stayed in the most stunning Airbnb. The Airbnb was a 2 bed/2 bath villa with the most serene outdoor area, which included a fire pit that we sat around for hours at night while sipping wine. The stars out in Guadalupe are also amazing! Stargazing was definitely a highlight. I would definitely say that Valle de Guadalupe is comparable to Napa Valley, and if anything... might be even better! The prices of everything are noticeably more affordable than Napa, and I would say the overall vibe and atmospheres of most wineries were a little less intimidating than Napa. Friendlier and more casual :) The COVID protocols of all the establishments were visited were also conducted very thoroughly. Our temperatures were taken everywhere we went and all the wineries & restaurants we went to were outdoors and very well spaced out. I felt very safe and distanced. If you live in Southern California and you love wine, maybe consider skipping Napa and coming here. I HIGHLY recommend it! 📱instagram.com/thewustew 🏠 Where we stayed: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/29485536... 🚕 Transportation: My friend Shaniqua and I both walked across the border from San Diego to Tijuana.
