Did you love pop tarts when you were younger?! You either loved them or loathed them, but one thing is for sure, they remind you of childhood and feeling happy. We created a GIANT cookie dough stuffed pop tart for TikTok and the video went wild so we thought it was only fair to share one with you! The best news? This recipe actually works so if you decide to make a larger than life OUT OF THIS WORLD pop tart, you REALLY can. We’ve gone with an out of this world theme so we’re using Galaxy, Milky Way Magic stars and Mars bars but feel free to swap out with your favourite chocolates. Don’t forget to tag us in your bakes @blondieskitchen as we just love seeing you recreate our recipes! Ingredients 2 x Jus-Rol Shortcrust Pastry Ready Rolled Sheets 20 Giant Marshmallows 3 family size Galaxy bar 1 pack of 6 Milky Ways 1 family pack Milky Way Magic Stars, some reserved for decorating on top 1 pack of 6 Mars Bars 500g Icing Sugar Water for making icing 1 egg, beaten for glazing Method Pre-heat your oven to 175C and make sure the middle shelf is ready to put the tart in. Line your largest baking tray with parchment paper and unwrap 1 sheet of the Jus-Roll pastry onto the parchment lined tray. Put your chocolate treats in the centre of the pastry, leaving a slight border for sealing. Top with the marshmallows, and make sure everything is distributed evenly across the base. Unroll the second sheet of pastry over the top, and carefully seal the sides to close the entire tart. Using a fork, press to seal the edges together for the perfect pop tart finish. Glaze the top of the pastry with a pastry brush or kitchen roll if you don’t have a pastry brush. Put the tart in the oven for 30 minutes, or until golden all over. Leave to cool on the tray until completed cooled. In the meantime, make the icing for the topping. Put the icing sugar in a large bowl and add 2 tbsp water, stirring until a thick paste has formed. Add a little more water gradually if you need to. The consistency should be thick, but pourable. Pour the icing all over the pop tart, starting in the middle and gradually spreading to the edges. Then scatter the magic stars over the top for the real WOW factor. 10. Slice up and share!
