Welcome to Deep’s Kitchen! In today’s video, we are sharing a delicious and easy Dhaba Style Bhindi Mirchi Sabzi recipe. This spicy and flavorful okra & green chilli stir-fry is perfect for everyday meals and tastes amazing with roti, paratha, or dal-chawal. Ingredients For Marination: Okra (Bhindi) – chopped into medium round pieces Green chillies – sliced into rounds Salt – to taste Coriander powder – 1 tsp Black pepper – a pinch Crushed red chilli – 1 tbsp Turmeric powder – 1 tsp All-purpose seasoning powder – 1 tbsp Asafoetida (Hing) – 1 tsp Oil – 2 tbsp For Cooking: Oil – as required Curry leaves – 7–8 Asafoetida (Hing) – a pinch Coriander powder – a little Turmeric powder – a little Red chilli powder – to taste Kashmiri red chilli powder – for color Garlic – 7–8 cloves, roughly crushed Onion – 1, roughly chopped Tomato – 1, roughly chopped Method In a mixing bowl, add chopped okra and green chillies. Add salt, coriander powder, black pepper, crushed red chilli, turmeric, all-purpose seasoning, asafoetida, and oil. Mix everything well so the vegetables are evenly coated. Cover and rest for 15–20 minutes. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add curry leaves, a pinch of asafoetida, coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder, and Kashmiri red chilli powder. Mix well. After 1–2 minutes, add crushed garlic and sauté until lightly golden. Add chopped onion and cook on high heat for 4–5 minutes until soft and slightly translucent. Add chopped tomato and cook on high heat for another 5 minutes until tomatoes soften. Now add the marinated okra and green chillies to the pan. Mix gently, cover the pan, and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Final Touch & Serving Once the okra is tender and well-cooked, turn off the heat. Your Masaledar Bhindi & Green Chilli Sabzi is ready to serve! Serve hot with chapati, paratha, or dal-chawal for a wholesome and satisfying meal.
