Have you had ACL-Reconstruction Surgery or dealing with an ACL injury? Are you in the later stages of rehab and want to challenge yourself with basketball specific movements? This video is for you! In this video, Marco will be breaking down how you should be decelerating and accelerating (basics of change of direction). Majority of ACL injuries occurring during non-contact moments where the knee either hyperextends or the knee caves in, typically in basketball when an athletes is decelerating when they are about to jump/euro-step or when landing. Furthermore, we take it further by challenging this deceleration pattern in all planes of movement. Basketball and life happens in all 3 planes of movement simultaneously; therefore, you need to master these patterns in the "sphere" of movement. We want you to be able to meet the demands with basketball with proper form; therefore, we break it down, so that you can progress to higher level activities.
