In the same way, our suffering does not mean that God has ever left us or stopped loving us. Your suffering matters to God because you matter to God. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest. ~Psalm 126:5-6 ——————————————————————— PERSONAL TAKEAWAY: Growing up and even to this day I use to compare my suffering to other people’s suffering… Is mine less or worse? How can we determine? Isn’t all suffering subjective? If God doesn’t take away suffering and we did not need to experience it…why would we all endure it? Suffering came into the world when Adam led humanity to its acceptance of sin… So God allows us to endure suffering, a conflict of innateness and a result of sin, because it is what leads to humility and submission. No matter what…suffering leads to submission of some form…whether it’s to God or the world. Abba, I thank you for the trials and tribulations you’ve allowed me to endure and the suffering that I faced that led me to your steps… Though I will encounter more hardships…I pray to always remember where my eternal residency is and that no suffering will last because of the grace and peace found in your presence #pursuing #christ #becoming #creator #devotional
