My covenant of blessing will never be broken," says the LORD, who has mercy on you. ~Isaiah 54:10 ——————————————————————— PERSONAL TAKEAWAY: On October 28th, 2016 I surrendered my life to the Lord Jesus and felt a love that was unfathomable. The last 10 years I spent my late teens/early 20’s battling the Truth with my unwillingness to give up the things He saved me from. One moment, I’d want to follow the narrow path that ignited the road of purpose and just as quickly would go back to the things that were comfortable. I wanted quick answers, quick results, instant gratification and received it. I felt lost constantly. Fast success creates ego. Slow success creates character. But despite the constant tug of war, God never let go of me. His love always persisted and drew me near to Him EVERY SINGLE DAY. I felt Him, I knew He was calling. I could hear His voice but it was faint…the Holy Spirit within me always brought back to my knees and the Fathers arms were always open. Ten years later, Jesus is no longer just my Savior…He is my Lord and everything I do now I out of pure desire to glorify His name. So, Father please renew in me your relentless Spirit to serve, to move with integrity, embrace discipline, display pure love, inspire compassion & grace, to feel more for my fellow man, for my community, for my nation, for all of creation. For your love is unfailing and righteous… All in your name Jesus For in your Word you say… “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.
