Why is running so hard? Why do you struggle to run further or faster? And how can you improve as a runner, especially when you are facing the wall. Today we explore why running is so challenging, and I provide some running tips to help you run marathon and ultra marathon. In this video, I cover the biggest reasons why you still struggle at running, and providing tips from my experience as a marathon and ultra marathon runner, that will help you in your training for a marathon and ultra marathon. But after some training, we typically see rapid improvement. This rapid progress gives us the impression that we 'solved' running, but reality will catch up: running is HARD! And at some point, we don't seem to progress and we can feel lost. How can you improve further as a runner after hitting this wall? The normal reaction is that you should train hard! Training hard is of course important, but it's not everything. If you are not seeing progress, it's time to troubleshoot why you still struggle at running, and explore other solution than simply "training more". In this video, I cover the biggest reasons why you still struggle at running, and providing tips from my experience as a marathon and ultra marathon runner, that will help you in your training for a marathon and ultra marathon.
