I'm Mai and I welcome you to my recipe book n_n I hope you love this recipe for whole wheat flour sliced bread (or lactal bread)! It's very easy, it has few ingredients and it's delicious! These are some of the products I use: *Bread mold https://amzn.to/3EIEhd4 *Green measuring cups and spoons https://amzn.to/40h8Ajr *Linen fabric for kitchen https://amzn.to/3BPibV4 KitchenAid mixer https://amzn.to/3BZDLX2 *Timer https://amzn.to/3XuXgOH Ingredients: 1 kg of wholemeal flour 700 ml of warm water 1 tsc salt (optional) 10 gr of dry yeast (or 30 gr of fresh yeast) (I made the recipe very simple, but you can also add a drizzle of olive oil to flavor it and mix it with seeds). Preparation: Let's mix the flour with the dry yeast (if you use fresh you have to activate it before with a teaspoon of sugar or honey and wait until it is full of bubbles) and add the salt. We mix well and then start adding the warm water little by little. Then we continue kneading until the ingredients are well integrated (about 5 minutes). Now we are going to let it rest, covering with a damp cloth, until it doubles in size (about an hour). Then we give it the size of our mold, make a tight roll and place it in the mold. We cover (with a lid or damp cloth) and wait until it doubles in size again (from 30 to 40 min approx). (I have a large mold, like for a kilo of bread, but you can divide it into two for example. You can use a pudding mold and if your mold is not non-stick you can paint with oil or place baking paper / greaseproof paper). Preheat the oven to 200 ºC for about 10 minutes. And to cook our bread! I had it for 35 minutes. And ready!! Now is when our house smells like homemade bread, one of the many reasons why I prefer to make it and not buy it :P We proceed to unmold and wait for it to cool down a little before cutting. Ways to preserve it (always well wrapped in paper or a bag): -At room temperature it lasts from 3 to 5 days. -In a refrigerator it will last about 10 days. -Or my favorite option, cut into slices and freeze, this way it lasts about 3 months.
