This week I satirise my poor level of education and get all esoteric and philosophical. Plus, with a contrived narrative, I'm kind of excusing what many people may consider click bait. It's not, but no doubt some people will claim that it is. You see, this Ciabatta really does only take 5 minutes - and yet, it also takes 24 hours. A paradox that the most learned, philosophical human minds explain and embrace with consummate ease. So there. 5 Minute, 24 hour Ciabatta bread recipe: 250g white bread flour 3/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp sugar 1/4 tsp dried instant yeast 175ml cold water 10g olive oil Mix well, cover and leave overnight for 12-18 hours. Knock back and form into a rough rectangular shape. Flour and cover before leaving for a further 2 hours. Fold in half, smooth out the top and stretch a little before baking in a well preheated oven at 220C (430F) for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy! #theteessidechef #ciabatta #nokneadbread Credits: By "F.
