If you enjoy relaxed holiday food reviews and Lanzarote travel, hit subscribe for more I’m back in Costa Teguise Lanzarote, after day 2 of being in Puerto del Carmen Lanzarote, starting the day with what turned out to be the best breakfast I’ve had on the island, followed by a relaxed walk around the area, some family time, and finishing the evening quietly with pizza on the balcony. 👉 The food ratings shown below are based on Google Reviews, which I use when choosing where to eat. I used to use Trip Advisor but Google reviews are better. I generally stick to places rated 4.2 and above, then give my own score out of 10 based on the experience. I might venture below that at some point and see what happens… The day started at The Black Bull Costa Teguise Lanzarote, and this place absolutely smashed it. I went for the standard breakfast and added hash browns and potato cakes as extras, which were only €1 each. The atmosphere was relaxed, service was quick, and the lady who served me was genuinely lovely. Even better, the guy who cooked the food brought it out himself on a really nice elongated plate, which was a great touch. Food wise, everything was spot on, easily the best breakfast I’ve had in Lanzarote, and the coffee was excellent too. After breakfast I had a slow walk around Costa Teguise, and spent part of the afternoon walking with my dad and step mum, which was really nice. One of those days where you don’t rush anywhere, just enjoy being out, wandering around, and taking it all in. We also stopped for a few cold beers at Hotel Grand Teguise Playa, sitting outside and enjoying the views and the relaxed atmosphere. 📍 Hotel Grand Teguise Playa: https://www.google.com/maps/search/Ho... By the evening I wasn’t feeling 100%, probably feeling the effects of too much sun from the previous day, so instead of heading out for a full sit-down meal I went to Pasta & Pizza Takeaway by Enzo Costa Teguise Lanzarote and took it back to the apartment. I had a ham and pineapple pizza and cheesy garlic bread, and it absolutely sorted me right out. The pizza was soft, fluffy, and full of flavour, and the guy who runs the place was really friendly. They’re open until 9:30pm, which is handy if you’re after something later on. I ate it on the balcony at night, looking out over the sea with an iced coffee, just reflecting on how nice this trip has been. A proper chilled way to finish the day.
