This hidden structure, a ruin now reclaimed by nature, is thought to have been a summer home for a powerful family (who still own a nearby, active castle). It's incredibly difficult to locate, and reaching it requires a bit of a climb through thick thorns and nettles, but it's well worth the effort! But the real adventure started after the camera stopped... My boyfriend and I got completley lost! The rain was lashing down, leaving us absolutely drenched, confused, and sad. We finally realised we were on the wrong side of the forest when we heard the motorway beside us. My speedy boyfriend volunteered to run back to the car so he could pick my dog and I up at the side of the motorway. After a long 45-minute wait in the pouring rain, he arrived and saved the day.
