This was the first time I had someone come help me film, and she was tasked with holding the microphone. I was super excited to share this experience with her!!! .... WELL... I wasn't so pleased about it when I got back home to edit the video! Unfortunately, my friend has been sacked from holding my microphone again. Let's just say, it took me a while to edit out all the noises of the mic rubbing her coat... It looks like she will be sticking to her day job folks... Show bizz ain't for everyone!!!! In an attempt to edit out the noises of the mic ribbing on my friends lovely coat, I tried to layer some sounds and turn down the mic rustling noises. I think it turned out well, but please excuse some short moments where I noticably turned the volume down… those were the loudest parts 😅 📜 The deep magic and ancient folklore of Glenariff Forest (The Queen of the Glens)💧✨ Welcome to Glenariff, universally known as the "Queen of the Glens," a spectacular and deeply enchanted corner of County Antrim, Northern Ireland. According to local folklore, the name Ess-Na-Larach originates from a specific, tragic event: a fierce battle fought on the slippery banks above the gorge. During the chaos, horses—some say mythical, giant warhorses—were driven over the edge, tumbling to their fate in the thundering water below. When you listen to the powerful, ceaseless rhythm of the waterfall, you are hearing the echoes of these legendary beasts and the tumultuous events that shaped the Glens. This area is tied to the epic legends of the Giant, Fionn mac Cumhaill and the Fianna. According to some tales, the legendary warrior-poet Oisín, who traveled to the mystical land of Tír na nÓg, was raised in a glen much like Glenariff.
