Across Utah and Into Wyoming | Long Miles on I-80

Today’s run starts in Wells, Nevada as we continue east with a load of prepackaged food bound for Morris, Illinois, where this load is scheduled to deliver at 8:00am on 3/21/26. The goal for today is to make it somewhere near Cheyenne, Wyoming before shutting down for the night, which means a long day of interstate miles across some classic western trucking country. This leg of the trip stays on I-80 eastbound, carrying us out of northeastern Nevada and across Utah before pushing on into Wyoming. The day should bring a lot of variety, from the open high desert around Wells and Elko country behind us, into the long runs across northern Utah near places like Salt Lake City, Echo Junction, and Evanston, then farther east into Wyoming through country around Rock Springs, Rawlins, Laramie, and on toward Cheyenne if the hours line up. It is the kind of route that gives you big western skies, long freight corridors, changing elevation, and a full day of honest interstate driving. This should be a strong eastbound run with a lot of ground to cover and some great western scenery along the way. Ride along with us and see how close we can get to Cheyenne before the day is done.
