This shepherd-style beef fry is made using boiled beef, colorful vegetables, and a special cooking method that gives the dish a rich taste and beautiful texture. 🥩 Ingredients: 300g beef 3 colorful bell peppers 2 onions 2 tomatoes 2 potatoes 40g butter 100ml vegetable oil 👨🍳 Cooking Process: First, the beef is boiled separately and the foam is removed carefully. All vegetables are chopped as shown in the video. Hot oil is added to the pan, then the boiled beef is fried until lightly browned. After that, onions are added and cooked until soft. Then the colorful peppers are added. The potatoes are pre-cooked separately until al dente so they don’t release starch in the pan. This helps the dish keep a better color and texture. Water is added gradually during cooking to prevent vegetables from burning and to allow better cooking. After that, the potatoes are added to the pan. To achieve a slightly sour flavor and deeper color, tomatoes are added at the final stage. The lid is closed and cooked on high heat for 5 minutes. Then the lid is removed and cooked for another 5 minutes until the liquid reduces. For a richer color, use less water and add turmeric. This is a perfect homemade Azerbaijani comfort food recipe.
