Back to basics today with a classic V60 brew! Still using my Monteblanco beans from Ahiya Roasters, I decided to test a coarser grind (100 clicks) on the Kingrinder K6 and shorten my bloom to see how it would affect the flavor. Surprisingly, it brought out more acidity in a pleasant way — and the cup was super balanced. Also tried something new: I saved the last few drops of the extraction separately, to taste them on their own. Shoutout to whoever suggested that in the comments! ➤ Coffee: Monteblanco – Ahiya Roasters ➤ Brew Method: Hario V60 ➤ Ratio: 15g in / 255g out ➤ Grind: Kingrinder K6 – 100 clicks ➤ Bloom: 45g for 45 seconds ➤ Total time: ~2:30 min 💬 V60 lovers — how do YOU adjust grind or bloom?
