The Crow Stand is a really cool isometric pushing exercise that you may have seen in yoga practices, but it’s also a gateway to many calisthenics skills. It improves balance, builds shoulder strength, and for that reason, it’s high on our list of progressions toward the handstand push-up. At the end of the day, you’re essentially holding an assisted, bottom-to-mid range tuck handstand push-up. As you master this move, you can build on it, unlocking harder and harder variations.
