2014 B-Boying Performance | 5th Element Crew | TEDxDayton

The 5th Element Crew strives to keep the hip-hop culture alive locally in the Dayton area. Their performance displays an aspect of hip-hop called b-boying, created on November of 1973. 5th Element Crew is a bboying crew consisting of five members — Chris “Klasic” Greene, Zuva “Shock” Calhoun, James “Densai” Bigham, Kedar “Kill switch” Calhoun and Chris “C-turtle” Rivers. Bboying was born November 12, 1973 and has four key elements: breaking, emceeing, graffiti, and djing. They came together this year to form 5th Element Crew. The young dancers all come from a different dynamic background and have each brought something unique to make the crew who they are.
