Drain and Fill of CVT Transmission Fluid Installation of new Anderson Design Fabrication CVT Transmission Pan Resources that helped me with this job: @MrSubaru1387 @MTsubfly @abcdeinformation3048 Subaru Forester Factory Service Manual Materials: -CVT FLuid: Subaru CVTF-II -CVT Fill Plug Gasket -ADF Transmission Pan (bolts, drain plug+washer included) -Liquid Gasket - Three Bond 1217B or equivalent Tools/Equipment: -Jack + Jack Stands -Drain Pan -Brake Parks Cleaner -Fluid Fill Pump -Torque Wrench -Socket Wrench -10mm Socket -14mm Socket -8mm Hex -Transmission Fluid Temperature monitoring device (e.g. ScanGauge II) Simplified Steps: 1. Remove fill plug, let drain 2. Remove drain plug, let drain 3. Reinstall drain Plug 4. Fill new CVTF-II until it spills out 5. Reinstall fill plug (snug only) 6. Start car, shift through gears 7. Remove fill plug 8. Remove drain plug, let drain 9. Remove pan bolts 10. Remove pan using separator tool 11. Clean area and surfaces thoroughly 12. Apply liquid gasket to pan and replace pan 13. Install pan bolts 14. Fill new CVTF-II until it spills out 15. Reinstall fill plug (snug only) 16. Start car, shift through gears, get CVT temp to 95-113 deg F (*I had the engine off in the video but did end up rechecking and topping off with the engine running) 17. Top off CVTF-II 18. Replace fill plug and fill plug gasket
