Patrick Watson) #HomemadeHotDog #ComfortFood #EasyRecipe #CookingWithLove #CinematicFood #HotDogRecipe #CheeseLovers #FoodVlog #TastyEats Full Recipe: Ingredients • 2 rashers of bacon • 2 sausages (your choice of type) • 1 medium onion, sliced into rings • 1 tbsp cooking oil • 1½ tbsp butter (divided use) • ½ cup sweet corn • ½ tsp Aromat spice (or any seasoning salt) • Salt and black pepper to taste • 2 hotdog rolls • 2 tbsp butter (for the cheese sauce) • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour • 1 cup milk (add gradually) • 1 cup grated cheese (any kind; more if desired) • ½ tsp garlic powder • ½ tsp smoked paprika • 1 small tomato, sliced (¼ piece used) • A few slices of red onion • Chili flakes (optional, for spice) • Parsley (optional, for garnish) Instructions: 1. In a pan, fry 2 rashers of bacon until crispy, then remove them. 2. Add a bit of oil and fry 2 sausages. Remove once browned. 3. Add onion rings with a small knob of butter, salt, and black pepper to caramelize and set aside. 4. Add sweet corn to the same pan with a touch of butter and Aromat spice, then set aside. 5. Lightly toast your hotdog rolls in the same pan for extra flavor. 6. To make the cheese sauce, add butter and 2 tablespoons of flour to the pan, whisk together. 7. Season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and Aromat. 8. Gradually pour in milk in small amounts, stirring continuously until smooth (no lumps). 9. Add cheese of your choice and stir until creamy. Adjust the cheese amount for desired thickness. 10. Build your hotdog: Toasted roll → caramelized onions → half of the corn → sausages → cheesy sauce → remaining corn. Add *tomato slices* and *red onion* on top. For a spicy kick, sprinkle Vietnam chili flakes (optional). Garnish with a touch of parsley or your choice of herbs.
