Heat a pan and add some oil. Fry the bacon rashers until crispy. Remove and set aside. 2. In the same pan, fry the burger patties until cooked through. Place one slice of cheese on each patty and let it melt. Remove and set aside. 3. Take a single slice of onion and caramelize it in the pan with a little butter, a pinch of sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook until golden and soft, then remove. 4. In the pan, fry two eggs sunny side up with a little butter. 5. To assemble your Dagwood sandwich: • Start with the first slice of toasted bread. • Layer lettuce, 2 slices of tomato, and a pinch of salt. • Add one cheesy burger patty, then bacon, then one fried egg, then pickles. • Add the second slice of bread. • Layer lettuce, the remaining 2 slices of tomato, patty, bacon, egg, and pickles. • Top with the third slice of toasted bread. 6.
