She also works as a clinician and teacher at the Children's Hospital of Montreal. She completed her medical training at the University of Montreal and did a one-year fellowship in primary and secondary immunodeficiency in adults and children within the McGill network. Dr. Elfassy has a particular interest in cases of dysimmunity and is the co-founder of a clinic specializing in autoinflammatory diseases.
