I often feel alone when I face difficulties in my life. Where is God in those times? ——————————————————————— DEVOTIONAL: Though you may not feel God's presence or be able to see Him working, you can be sure that God is always with you. Many of the heroes of the Bible felt alone at some point, and you should not be surprised when this happens to you as well. It is often during the times when your faith is challenged that you grow the most. God has a plan for everything, even loneliness. If you keep watching, you will see His plan for you unfold. ——————————————————————— GOD'S RESPONSE: When the traders came by, his brothers pulled Joseph out of the pit and sold him for twenty pieces of silver ... The LORD was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did. ~Genesis 37:28: 39:3 We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going. ~2 Corinthians 4:9 ——————————————————————— GOD'S PROMISE: The LORD will not abandon His chosen people. ~1 Samuel 12:22 ——————————————————————— PERSONAL TAKEAWAY: I’ve used the phrase “God works in mysterious ways” all of my life. Now that I’m writing it, I realize that I’ve associated “mysterious” with ways that may appear strange or “wrong” but in fact it’s simply meaning in ways that are humanly unimaginable/calculable… He’s always there but with His omniscience, it’s in ways that our simple minds cannot comprehend…it’s so amazing. Father, thank you for always being here, I pray today I grow closer to you and remain near to your holy plans and keep honoring you in all of my endeavors in this world—May they fully align with your divine will.
