My first time roasting a Brazil Natural processed coffee was a success. In this video, I show how to create and execute a coffee roasting plan and talk about all of the steps I use to roast a new coffee. The coffee process type and density are considered to determine a charge temperature. I also consider the end result of the cup based on the origin, process and tasting notes from the importer. After that I put together a roasting plan and roast that plan here in this video. Just because it i the first time roasting a Brazil natural coffee does not mean I shouldn't plan my roast with goals in mind. In the end I taste the coffee (it was really enjoyable) and determine what mistakes and changes I may make the next time I roast this coffee What type of questions do you have about home coffee roasting.
