Day 2 invites you to explore how plant-based coaching becomes a powerful bridge between knowledge and transformation — both for the people you serve and for yourself. We’ll open with a reflection from Ocean Robbins on how coaches can be agents of healing and empowerment, setting the tone for a day rooted in purpose, integrity, and impact. From there, we’ll dive into the art of simplifying nutrition science with Dr. Michael Klaper, who will show you how to make plant-based messages clear, actionable, and inspiring for any audience. Howard Jacobson, PhD, will guide you in meeting clients exactly where they are, helping you cultivate progress with compassion and practicality. Then, Johannes Fisslinger will demonstrate how coaching brings lifestyle medicine to life — by making sustainable change possible. Coach Mentor Makini Duewea, NBHWC, will lead a heartfelt panel of PBCC alumni, centered on the theme of healing and empowerment. The session begins with a moving Student Spotlight featuring an alumni story that highlights the personal growth, meaningful change, and transformative power that unfold through embracing your own path of healing and empowerment and then stepping into the role of a coach. From there, alumni will share how their own health challenges have shaped their coaching path, offering a powerful reminder that healing and service often grow side by side. The day wraps with a closer look at the PBCC program and a live Q&A with Ocean and Tracy, offering inspiration, clarity, and a clear path forward.
