Mushroom pepper fry is delicious , spicy, and bursting with flavours - South Indian-style mushroom recipe that is vegan and gluten-free. It's also known as black pepper mushroom fry or Kerala style dry pepper mushroom. In this Mushroom Pepper Fry, black pepper is the main spice along with some more usual ones. The pungency of the black pepper is one of the highlights of this recipe. The aroma of fennel seeds is also quite prominent in the dish. To add some natural colour and crunch, I've added the capsicum. This Mushroom Pepper Fry is one of those recipes that you need in your back pocket. It’s fresh, spicy, garlick-y – a total medley of quintessential South Indian flavours The heat comes from the pepper, not from the chillies that are added to the tempering. This preparation is super easy and simple and makes for a fantastic spicy mushroom and capsicum fry.
