These Cinnamon Buns are amazing during the cold winter days, but are equally as good to enjoy any time of year. Nothing beats these buns straight from the oven :3 Here is Paul Hollywood's recipe for these delicious buns: Ingredients: 500g/1lb 2oz strong white flour, plus extra for dusting 1 tsp salt 1 x 7g sachet dried yeast 300ml/10fl oz milk 40g/1½oz unsalted butter oil or butter, for greasing For the filling: 100g of soften butter 100g of soft light brown sugar 4tsp or more of cinnamon depending on how much you like Icing: 120g of icing or confectionary sugar Around 2tbsp of water Method: 1-Put the flour in a bowl. Add the yeast and salt on seperate sides so not to kill the yeast. 2-Warm the milk and butter in a small saucepan until the butter is melted and the mixture is lukewarm. Pour into the flour mixture, add 1 egg and stir until a soft dough forms. 3-Tip the dough on a floured work surface and knead well for five minutes, or in a machine like, until the dough is smooth and elastic. 4-Put the dough into a bowl and let it rise, covered with a damp tea towel, for 1 hour. 5- Make your filling by combinding the butter, sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl. 6- Grease a roasting tin and line it with greaseproof paper leaving a small amount hanging over the edges. 7-Tip the dough out onto a floured work surface. Roll out dough into a rectangle about 35x25cm/14x10in. 8-Tack down the long side of the dough rectangle nearest to you by pressing down onto the surface with your fingers. Roll the other long side of the dough towards you, until the roll is complete and tight. With a knife cut of the ends of the roll and the rest in to about 12 slices. 9- Spread your filling over your dough right to the edges. 10-Put the buns cut side up in the baking tin with about 1cm/½in of space between each one. They will be close enough so that when they bake their sides will touch leaving a lovely soft edge. 11- Leave to rise for about 30 minutes in a warm place, covered with a damp tea towl. 12- Preheat oven to 190C/375F/Gas 5. 13- Make your icing by mixing the water and icing sugar together. If ypu want your icing less stiff add more water. 14- After 30 mins, put the buns in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden-brown. They shouldn't turn to dark, but if they turn to dark to quickly cover them with a piece of foil. 15- Take the buns out the oven and let them cool slightly before removing them from the pan. 16- Drizzle them with as much icing as you like while they are still warm, so the icing goes all gooey. 17- Enjoy! -Cherry
