In this follow along workout for beginners, I quickly walk you through four basic exercises you can do at home with no equipment needed. This video is part 1 of 2, so be sure to check for part 2. (which will be posted 3/19-21) Part 2 will feature 4 more exercises and I suggest performing this workout one day and the part 2 the next day. This simple yet effective bodyweight home workout features: 00:00 intro 03:00 & 08:45 Push ups 04:00 & 09:15 Upright bodyweight rows 06:00 & 10:00glute thrusts/glute bridges 07:30 & 10:45 hollow body holds Perform these 4 beginners bodyweight exercises in a circuit with minimal rest and then repeat the circuit. Make sure you take your sets close to failure. Failure is the point where you don't feel like you can safely and properly do another rep. Its important to make sure your sets are done to a close proximity to failure because this is a key element to making sure you are building muscle! All physical activity burns some calories, but only a high intensity of effort applied to your strength training will build muscle. So if your sets are too easy, and not taken close to failure then you wot be building muscle as well as you could be!
