This approximately 1 hour 40 minute all level Hatha yoga class is the second of three pre–Lunar New Year classes designed to prepare you for stepping fully into the Year of the Fire Horse. In our first class, we worked with Mooladhara and Swadisthana — releasing trauma and restoring safety. In this second yoga practice, we rise into Manipura (solar plexus chakra) — the center of willpower, fire, detoxification, and cleansing — and we consciously activate that power within. . Through powerful twisting sequences, core activation, Kapalabhati breathwork with breath retention and bandhas, dynamic Sun Salutations, revolved standing postures, backbends, and deep cleansing twists, we wring out what no longer serves us — physically, energetically, and emotionally. This is where we fully ignite the inner fire. This is where willpower strengthens. This is where motivation multiplies. The next class will move into heart opening — but first, we light the flame. This class is truly for all levels. Variations and options are offered throughout. You are invited to meet yourself where you are while still committing to your intention. By the end, you’ll feel clearer, lighter, stronger, and more activated — ready to move upward and open forward.
