Namaste, Beautiful! Welcome to this 90 minute yoga class for soothing stiffness in the lower back. Lower back pain is often be related to imbalance in the lower two chakras (root chakra and sacral chakra), which can be caused by imbalance in many areas of life. This class aims to address that imbalance, by using a combination of strictness and softness in the movement, incorporating my own intuitive movement with traditional Hatha and pieces of Kundalini Kriyas for opening the Mooladhara and Swadisthana Chakras. We'll start with centering in Child's Pose, to allow for the feeling of coming into the body for the first time, as we begin to move fluidly to warm up. Then we'll go into Hatha Sun Salutations to connect to the masculine energy, adding in some repetitive movements from the Kundalini Kriyas after a few rounds. Next we'll switch to connect to the feminine energy with Moon Salutations, adding in a little bit more back soothing movement on the last round.
