Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, and Intuition — all woven into one Mandala of awakening. An intermediate to advanced multi-style class for Swadisthana, the sacral chakra — where we stir, release, and integrate everything held within the hips and lower body. ⸻ This class is part of both the Chakra Journey Series and the Advanced Chakra Journey Series on Yoga is the Answer. It expands on what we began in the three-hour Advanced Chakra Journey and continues the progression from the Mooladhara class, now moving deeper into the second chakra — Swadisthana. We begin by arriving fully in the body — grounding, centering, and awakening awareness through the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Connecting to the color orange, to the element of water, and to that space between the tailbone and the pubic bone where the energy of Swadisthana lives. From there, we move through a bit of yin to prepare the hips and legs, softening into the joints before beginning to stir the waters. The sequence builds slowly — from stillness to movement, from subtle to powerful — combining Hatha postures, Kundalini kriyas, mandala-style hip mobility, and intuitive vinyasa to circulate prana and awaken what’s been dormant. As the energy rises, we flow through progressive levels of standing and arm-balance sequences that challenge both strength and surrender. You’ll feel the intensity build through each layer — until finally, we descend again. The last part of the practice brings us back to the ground, where the movement slows, the breath deepens, and the body opens into stillness. It’s here that we go inward — where everything that was stirred can finally release, clear, and settle. The practice closes in full integration, allowing the energy to balance and the nervous system to return to peace. This is an intermediate to advanced multi-style class designed to strengthen your sense of self, clear stored imprints, and decrease the intensity of primal urges through awareness and movement.
