I finally made it to the end of this place and was surprised it was so large

Grab the metal detector, hit the woods and go ! This old colonial farm is huge and was abandoned in the 1800s and now it is all forest. A long time deserted but the signs of what people did hundreds of years ago is to be seen and found. Rock walls and improved land for as far as I can see with tons of stacked rocks. I went out there to get to the end of this place and see what was out there. Reading the landscape history you can see this old farm was huge. I hiked all the way to the end exploring as I went and the stone walls still kept going. I had my Teknetics G2+ with me but had no luck finding any relics, but I did find an early to mid 1900s cabin site which we can go back and detect in the future. Discovery takes time and this had to be done and it was a great adventure seeing the size of their long ago lost home site.
