Hello and welcome back to my slow living vlog. In this week's slow life vlog join me as I mend my old pocket watch by sewing a new velvet ribbon to use as a replacement chain. I share the story behind this watch and why it means so much to me. I also spend some time in the garden with the neighbourhood cats, harvesting bits and pieces to make a simple lunch. This week I'm trying jingalov hats for the first time, an Armenian herb filled flatbread that is commonly eaten during Lent and times of scarcity. It's a perfect recipe for the hungry gap at the end of winter as you can use whatever is leftover before clearing beds for the spring crops. If you're new to my channel, hello! My name is Stéphanie and Eighteen and Cloudy is my slow living vlog. I share slow paced, seasonal videos about living a simple and sustainable lifestyle in a big city. My videos feature my rented city garden in which I grow food and flowers, the recipes I make, and the craft projects I work on throughout the year. If you enjoyed this video, take a look through my archives to get a feel for my channel and subscribe to keep in touch. I share new videos weekly. Jingalov hats recipe: For the dough use 80g plain flour and 50g warm water per portion. Combine the flour and water into a ball of dough, and let it rest whilst you finely dice various greens and herbs. Use whatever you can find in your fridge, in your garden, or in the shops that happens to be in season. Assemble the breads like I do in the video, and pan fry them for a few minutes on each side.
