Learn an easy Downward Dog yoga pose with Cindy! This is for those who prefer to join the pack, but like to stay on the furniture. It celebrates the beautiful Downward-Facing Dog posture, as we balance on all four paws and lift our tails to the sky, but uses props like a chair and blocks. So whether you call it Down Dog, Downward Facing Dog, or the classic Sanskrit Adho Mukha Svanasana, you'll benefit from this ancient posture. This pose (asana) provides a deep stretch of the hamstrings, calves, and spine while strengthening the shoulders, arms, and core. It calms the mind, relieves stress, and improves focus due to increased blood flow to the brain. Give it a try and feel it open the chest and shoulders and gently realign the vertebrae.
