-Cranberry Jalapeno Pork Tenderloin Sliders #pork #sliders #recipes Pork Tenderloin Sliders on the Gateway Drum Smoker Pork Tenderloins are one our favorite week night meals. They take on great flavors and are always melt in your mouth. In this recipe, we take two pork tenderloins and create a great little slider with a Cranberry Jalapeno Sauce. **What You Need** -2 Pork Tenderloins Your Favorite Savory Rubs A Pack of Slider Buns 12oz or Cranberries 2 Diced Jalapenos 1 tsp of Orange Zest 1/2 Cup of Orange Juice 1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup of BBQ Sauce (Killer Hogs The BBQ Sauce) 1/2 Cup of Water 1/2 Cup of White Sugar We started by trimming some of the silver skin off of the pork tenderloins. It didn't need much but I sure didn't want to bite into anything that may have been tough. We then season the pork tenderloins with our "Grit and Grind" Combo. I would say it was a good medium coat of both rubs. We let these sit out for about 30 minutes while get got the https://www.gatewaydrumsmokers.com/ fired up. To get the Drum Smoker fired up, we filled the basket with some good https://www.royaloak.com/ lump charcoal. We ran the pit in the 300 degree range and added a few small pieces of Pecan to add a good smoke flavor. We placed the pork tenderloins on and in the center of the rack. I wanted them to get a good color and drip on the coals to add even more flavor. We put a https://www.thermoworks.com/DOT and set the alarm to 135. While the pork tenderloins are cooking, its a good time to get the sauce made. We started with two whole diced Jalapenos, place them in a skillet of small sauce pot to get cooked down a bit. Once the jalapenos are cooked down a bit you can add the orange zest, orange juice, brown sugar, water, and bbq sauce. Bring the mixture back to a bowl and add the Cranberries and sugar. Allow to simmer for at least 15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Once the sauce is thickened, you can add sugar to taste because sometimes Cranberries may need a little extra. Once the pork tenderloins hit that 125 internal mark, we glazed them with a little Killer Hogs The BBQ Sauce. Just to add a little sweetness and color. Placed the tenderloins back on the pit to finish out to an internal of 135. That will allow them to carry over to at least 140 during the rest and be packed full of moisture. Now its time to build these sliders. We used some Slider Hawaiian Rolls, placed two thick slices of that juicy tenderloin and topped with the Cranberry Jalapeno Sauce. These make great little sandwiches for your holiday get together's. Hope you enjoyed this recipe and let us know what you think!
